Skin Rejuvenation Treatments
Skin rejuvenating injections
£350 per syringe/area
This treatment works best under the eyes, around the mouth for defining the lip line, backs of hands and décolletage. It can also be used for some acne scarring. A series of small injections of hyaluronic acid are placed just under the skin. A numbing cream can be applied to the skin beforehand. If this is applied, you will need to sit in the waiting area for 30-45 mins for it to take effect. It will not take away all of the sting, but just ease it a little. Avoid swimming and massaging the skin for 48 hours after treatment. The effects are seen almost immediately although there can be swelling and bruising afterwards that is usually easily covered with makeup. The results are subtle but can give the skin a refreshed, smoother appearance.

Microneedling
£300 per session
2-6 sessions may be required depending on the condition being treated

Microfine needles disrupt the skin surface and induce a wound healing response which in turn smooths the skin and improves the appearance. It can be helpful in improving scar tissue post-surgery or from acne scarring, and in conditions such as vitiligo and melasma (hyperpigmentation). It is also used to improve fine lines and in skin rejuvenation. It is a popular treatment for people who want a very natural approach to skin rejuvenation, and don't want any products injected into their skin.

Dermatology Services

Consultation for lesion or mole check
£225
Dr Kemp will take a history and perform a full skin check with the aid of a dermatoscope. Please note, to do this properly you will be asked to undress to your underwear but dignity is maintained at all times. If there are moles that need monitoring Dr Kemp will often recommend taking photos on your mobile phone for self-monitoring. If there are any worrying lesions Dr Kemp will suggest referral for NHS care via your GP or can offer private treatment at cost. There is helpful information about what to watch out for on the link Skin Cancer - BAD Patient Hub (skinhealthinfo.org.uk)

Cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen)
Diagnosis and treatment £275
Liquid nitrogen is sprayed onto the skin to destroy the surface skin cells. It is only suitable for superficial skin lesions such as sun spots (solar lentigo), sun damage (actinic keratosis) or warts. It is not recommended for mole removal. Dr Kemp will confirm whether the treatment is suitable and then apply the treatment. It does sting at first (more like a burning sensation) and then the lesion will become inflamed and possibly crust or blister afterwards. This may last a few days depending on the length of treatment required. There may be a permanent pale mark (scar) afterwards. There is a helpful patient information leaflet on the link Cryotherapy - BAD Patient Hub (skinhealthinfo.org.uk)

Skin lesion removal
simple skin shave (no histology) £350
+ with histology additional £150
simple skin excision requiring stitches with histology £650
excision cyst or lipoma with histology £800
Dr Kemp can remove benign lesions under local anaesthetic. It is recommended that most lesions are sent for histological analysis. However, simple skin tags and seborrheic warts with a classical appearance can be "scraped" or "shaved" off without histology. Dr Kemp will advise the best way to remove your lesion
Anti-aging Injectable Treatments
Fillers
1st Syringe £350
Additional syringe taken at same appointment £200
As the name suggests, lines are filled with non-permanent filler. Dr Kemp only uses FDA approved fillers and the results last from 6 - 12 months. It works best for lines formed by volume loss such as around the mouth or cheeks. A "numbing" cream can be applied to the skin beforehand and you will need to sit in the waiting area for 30-45 mins for it to take effect. For injections to plump the lips, a local anaesthetic can be offered although most people prefer just the numbing cream. Avoid swimming and massaging the skin for 48 hours after treatment. The effects are seen almost immediately although there may be some mild swelling, lumpiness and bruising afterwards that is usually easily covered with makeup or concealer.

Muscle relaxing injections
£325 face
£400-800 armpits to stop sweating
Muscle relaxing injections work best for frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet around the eyes. A series of small injections is given into the muscle. It may sting a little and it is possible to get a small bruise or swelling afterwards, usually eaily covered by makeup or concealer. A "numbing" cream can be applied to the skin beforehand and if you opt for this you will need to sit in the waiting area for a further 30-45 mins for it to take effect. This will not take away all the sting, but ease it a little. Avoid swimming and skin massage for 48 hours after treatment. You may drive home (unless you are someone who feels faint after injections in which case it may be better to bring a companion to drive you home). The effects are NOT seen immediately but take 3-14 days to become apparent. The effects last between 3-6 months. It tends to last longer after you have had several treatments and most of my regular clients just need to attend twice per year.
